I always remember the name of Galen's chapter in his book, Mountain Light, called "Figures in a Landscape." I was also recently at Manzanar working on a new book project, and will be using one of Adams' photos as well. Standing and shooting sunrise at the boulder field looking at the Sierra, I couldn't help but envision Adams and his tripod set up nearby, save the 60 year time warp. Very nice post, David.
