CNET News published an interview with CEO Bruce Livingstone of iStockphoto on Wednesday. An excerpt:
Have the pros decided that it's better to band with you than to try to fight you?
Livingstone: The ideas are changing. A lot of pro photographers are now submitting to microstock agencies, and at least testing it out and seeing, "Can I actually make money here?" I think a lot of them are finding that yes, they can.

This year's sold-old Photoshop World Conference & Expo runs from April 3 to 6 in Boston. The much-anticipated CS3 will surely be the most popular topic of discussion. To answer photographers' questions, O'Reilly Media has announced that it will host many of its own bestselling photography authors at the expo. When people think of Digg, it's not usually in connection with the photography industry or the promotion of photographers. But that could be a mistake. As a community-driven social content site, Digg should be on everyone's radar -- including that of the professional photographer.
The Photopreneur blog has an interesting profile of Rich Legg, an amateur photographer who has had success marketing his work over Digg.

Mike Sansone at the Photopreneur blog has a nice post on SlideShowPro and its creator, Todd Dominey. Writes Mike:
For a while now one of the most stylish ways of exhibiting photos online has been to use SlideShowPro, a component for Macromedia Flash. The program lets photographers and Web developers place interactive galleries on their websites, complete with MP3 files, thumbnails and even automated Flickr feeds. For photographers, it's one of the sleekest ways to show your favorite pictures on a website.
