Sometimes you’ve just gotta have fun. So in the name of lightheartedness and some silliness too, here are two sites that are sure to put a smile on your face.
Running from Camera is a photoblog begun last June by Muggezifter with these simple rules: “I put the self-timer on 2 seconds, push the button and try to get as far from the camera as I can.”
At first I didn’t know what to think of these images — “very odd” came to mind — but after a while they grew on me. You can see more of the 40 photos to date here.
Hotel Bed Jumping. It’s naughty, it’s fun, it’s free. BedJump is all about creating an exciting and entertaining hotel space. Our mission is to ensure that all the content on the site comes from you – real hotel guests.
Ok, so it’s promotional in nature, but still — it’s not too often that adults get to have an excuse for jumping on beds. (And to see more bed jumpers, go here.)
And an honorable mention goes to two participants of Project 365 on Flickr. Giovanni Gallucci and William Hurley are engaging in a friendly “Flickrmockr” in their quest of posting a new picture of themselves online every day of 2007.
Four recent pictures on Gallucci’s and Hurley’s Project 365 photo sets involve Galluccci good-naturedly imitating his rival’s shots. Hopefully the two will continue their competition for the remainder of the year.
